The setting of Cyberpunk 2077, Night City, sets out to let anyone be who they want to be, complete with customizable body parts, cyberpunk implants, and more. This creativity stands out despite being snuffed by the general dystopian world, where everything is controlled by large mega-corporations. It’s no secret Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t have the smoothest launch, but it does seem to have improved a lot over the few months.
Technical issues aside, after all, the draw is more about the dystopian world, beloved Cyberpunk 2077 characters, and V’s overarching story. The world is incredibly detailed, despite its flaws, so much so there are fuel prices posted in every Night City gas station. According to the American Automobile Association, the national gas price average is currently $5.014 and diesel averages at $5.771. Prices obviously change per state, with the lowest gas prices nationally being in the south and the highest being in western states, but the average for all states is undeniably high.
