Destiny 2: Xur Location and Exotic Items (July 29 - August 2)

From July 29 to August 2 in Destiny 2, Xur's location is in the Tower Hangar and he has a couple of great Exotic and Legendary items available this weekend. Many of the worthwhile items available this weekend are weapons, but there are a couple of armor pieces that are worth looking over. For newer or returning players, Guardians may be interested in purchasing Xur's Hawkmoon and Deadman's Tale rolls.

This weekend includes some of Xur's best Hawkmoon and DMT rolls in Destiny 2. Those who already have a better roll for each won't need to purchase either, but it could possibly be a while before another Hawkmoon or DMT of these calibers is available. To ensure that both rolls can be purchased this weekend, Guardians should pick up the Xenology quest and turn it into Xur for an additional Exotic Cipher.

Guardians can buy Xur's Hawkmoon this weekend with Arrowhead Brake, Alloy Magazine, Rangefinder, and Heavy Grip. Xur's DMT has Extended Barrel, High-Caliber Rounds, Vorpal Weapon, and Hand-Laid Stock. While the Hawkmoon roll is great and certainly worth the price, Guardians should prioritize buying Xur's Dead Man's Tale Scout Rifle because it's a fantastic roll that is too good to pass.

None of the Exotic armor pieces that Xur has this week are a «must buy,» but Guardians should still pick up any of the gear that they are missing. ST0MP-EE5 is typically a great PvP Exotic for Hunters, but the stat distribution doesn't provide a spike in the most beneficial stats for Crucible activities. ACD/0 Feedback Fence and Karnstein Armlets don't have great stat distributions either, and neither of these Exotic armor pieces provides a significant benefit to PvE or PvP activities.
