Aranyaka is the main World Quest Genshin Impact Travelers have to complete in Sumeru. It consists of several chapters, each with different puzzles and systems. However, they do share similarities, where they’re all connected, and they all involve Aranara.
To start the journey with these forest creatures, Genshin Impactplayers must first trigger the first part of the Aranyaka. This will open the rest of the chapters, and people are free to play whichever they prefer first. However, after following the questline, Travelers should soon realize that full completion of the chapter will be marked with a checkmark on their Forest Journal. To finish Chapter 1 and get a checkmark on the Aranyaka, here’s what players need to do.

To trigger the Aranyaka: Part I — Woodland Encounter quest in Genshin Impact, players need to find Rana north of Vimara Village, where the Forest Watcher is being attacked by some fungi. Getting close to Rana’s location will cause a blue exclamation mark to appear on the map.
After a series of events, Rana in Genshin Impact will eventually fall sick under the influence of Marana (The Withering). To help her, players must obtain the Bija, an item made of memories. This will lead to Travelers having to help several Aranara, so they can have the Festival Utsava. Afterward, though, chapter 1 of the Aranyaka won’t be marked as complete.
To get a checkmark on chapter 1 of the Aranyaka, players need to take care of the “bad guy” in Vimara Village.
After finishing chapter 2 of the Aranyaka and witnessing Rana getting a Vision, return to the village and find Alphonso. While recounting everything that happened, choose Sudabeh and Kavus to answer correctly.
