Our first piratical implement of destruction is No Reprieve, a Shotgun that looks like a blunderbuss. Unlike the old-timey shotgun, however, No Reprieve is a Pinpoint Slug Frame Shotgun that fires a single slug. Its Origin Trait, Right Hook, offers extra range and target acquisition after dealing melee damage, which is excellent for Slug Shotguns.
No Reprieve has a lot of great perk combos. Triple-Tap and Focused Fury go together like fine wine, while both the pirate and melee theme can reach their logical conclusions with Pugilist and Swashbuckler. On the PvP side, Outlaw, Surplus, Feeding Frenzy, Snapshot Sites, and Harmony are all great. And don't forget Headstone for your Stasis builds.

Compared to either the Ikelos SMG or Extraordinary Rendition, Blood Feud has worse stats all around. What it does have, however, is the Right Hook Origin Trait and Pugilist--both of which pair together to make the perfect combo for any melee-focused build.
