Destiny 2 is approaching its fifth anniversary in September, and the franchise has gone a long way since its early alpha days eight years ago. Bungie's looter shooter is not the same as it once was, be it in terms of gunplay and class differences, or the depth of the gameplay loop and how it evolved over the years.
