After several weeks of emotion-ghostbusting, Destiny 2's Season of the Haunted storyline reaches its climax this week. While the focus will be aimed at stopping deposed Cabal emperor Calus from establishing a connection with the buried pyramid warship inside the moon, it'll also be a week to knock out a few more seasonal challenges and earn some great loot in the process.
For week 7, there's not too much to do. Crucible players can knock out a quick objective if they're playing in the Glory playlist, Gambit players can equip their favorite Trace rifle to quickly grab some extra experience points, and shaping any Haunted weapon will earn you some more points.
Like previous weeks, there's a seasonal objective where you'll be tasked with completing a Sever mission with a specific subclass and elemental weapons. A quick note here if you're struggling to complete that objective is that you need to avoid using the scythe during the boss fights. That's a solar weapon, so it'll nullify any progress.
As usual, you'll gain a substantial amount of experience for completing seasonal challenges. That in turn helps you fill up your season pass sooner, grabbing even more loot in the process to outfit your Guardian with in Season of the Haunted. You can also tackle seasonal challenges at your own pace, as they'll only expire once a season concludes. If you decide to take a break from Destiny 2 for a week or two, you can return and complete multiple challenges at the same time.
