Like previous Destiny 2 seasons, Season 21 will see new weapons enter the loot pool and several others leave it to make room for the latest arrivals. Bungie has detailed which weapons will be leaving soon in case you still need to add them to your collection, but for fans of Strand, there's something to look forward to.
New Strand weapons--the first of their kind--will debut within Iron Banner and Gambit in Destiny 2, and while exact details are being kept under wraps, Bungie has revealed which archetypes will come equipped with that element. Gambit will have a Strand linear fusion rifle to acquire and Iron Banner has a Strand fusion rifle that can be earned.
The rest of the list includes a number of old favorites being added back to the loot pool, including the powerful rocket launcher Braytech Osprey, the popular scout rifle Randy's Throwing Knife, and Positive Outlook, a Void precision auto rifle. For the weapons that are leaving, Bungie has listed several Iron Banner, Nightfall, and Trials of Osiris guns that are being taken out of action next season.
The adept version of the Trials of Osiris weapon, Whistler's Whim, is already out of circulation, but you can still focus a Trials engram by Saint-14 for the regular version. Iron Banner's Hero's Burden and Wizened Rebuke will be removed in Season 21. For Nightfall strikes, you'll have until April 18 to earn the Mindbender's Ambition shotgun and May 2 to grab The Militia's Birthright grenade launcher.
