The Ascendant Alloy is a tremendously rare and costly resource in Destiny 2. There are only a few ways to get the prized resource, and a weekly purchase of a single item from Master Rahool is the easiest. For this method, players have to wait for the weekly reset to buy new items. However, on March 1, players across the world came across a strange bug that prevented them from buying the Ascendant Alloy. Despite making no purchases, these users were informed they'd reached the Alloy Weekly Limit. Reddit user bjyu9824 took it upon himself to raise the concern, forcing Bungie to take action on the same.
Interestingly, Bungie was aware of this bug, and they even replied to bjyu9824's post. Reddit user Dirtyeffinhippy from the Bungie Community Team commented that Bungie would soon be releasing a new hotfix, which means this issue will be solved by the next weekly reset.
