Destiny 2 is always evolving, but not every update is a massive expansion like The Witch Queen. Sometimes Bungie releases hotfixes that squash bugs — like the ones caused by The Witch Queen.
Destiny 2 hotfix 4.0.0.3 has been pushed, so you should see its changes the next time you log in to the game. Bungie’s patch notes begin with The Wellspring, a new PvE activity that was added with the latest expansion. Some players were missing out on rewards upon completing The Wellspring, but that should be fixed now. Bad Luck Protection, which Bungie humorously points out won’t prevent any bad luck in “regular, everyday life,” is also among the drops now.
Other activities have been tweaked too, including Gambit, Altars of Reflection, Throne World, Psi Ops Battleground, and Vox Obscura. Fixes for those also involve rewards, as well as progress-stopping bug squashes and balance changes.
Those in the market for Ascendant Alloy will be happy to know that a one-time two-for-one deal is available right now. This is a make-good for the weekly limit sometimes not resetting Master Rahool. Hotfix 4.0.0.3 contains plenty of other changes, and you can see the complete list below.
