This rework was labeled Void 3.0, and it focuses more on each class' identity when it comes to gameplay and build combinations. Still, Bungie devs explained in a recent podcast that there will be more changes than what meets the eye in Destiny 2's The Witch Queen expansion, especially when it comes to Void subclasses. When revisiting the kit for Nightstalker Hunters, Bungie decided that it was best to move away from the Heart of the Pack buffs provided when using Smoke Bombs near allies, particularly because of the intrinsic bonuses to various stats as part of the Void rework and Fragments. However, this change is a nerf to the team-support abilities of Nightstalkers, and it's even more impactful because of the removal of Combat Provisions.
