Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, the fighting game adaptation of the hit anime and manga but with far too many syllables, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on June 10.
You can already get Demon Slayer on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam. The game seems to be far more popular on Steam with a recent user review score of 90%. Xbox Series X has an average critic score of 82%, while PlayStation 4 is sitting at 70% on Metacritic. Most reviews praise the game's action and adherence to the anime's plot but have some criticism for its overall story length. But it was still good enough to get into Sam's top ten of 2021's list.

Demon Slayer initially launched with 18 characters, including anime protagonist Tanjiro Kamado, sidekicks Zenitsu and Insuke, and Nine Hashira member Kyōjurō Rengoku. The Switch version of Demon Slayer will include the six DLC characters that have arrived since the game's launch, including Rui, Akaza, Susamaru, Yahaba, Enmu, and Yushiro & Tamayo. It’ll also include all previous balance patches and improvements for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
For those that prefer their games to come in cartridge form, a physical edition will also be available for the Switch, but only in limited quantities. The physical launch edition of Demon slayer will come with the full game and one Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Key for Tanjiro Kamado in versus mode (other characters are can be unlocked through gameplay).
