Gabriel Iglesias and Ryan McPartlin have joined the cast of NBC's comedy pilot Hungry. Starring and executive produced by Demi Lovato, who headlines the show as Teddy, Hungry is said to revolve around a group of friends who are dealing with food issues. McPartlin plays Justin, who is the leader of the group. Additionally, the new report also notes that 11-time Emmy winner James Burrows will direct the pilot for Hungry. Burrows has worked on sitcoms like Cheers, Taxi, and Frasier, and he is also credited for helming the pilots for several long-running comedies like The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men.
