It’s been in the works for a looooong time, but Dead Island 2 is finally, actually coming out. It’s set to release for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on April 28. Dead Island 2 is a sequel to the 2011 game Dead Island. It was first announced back in 2014 with an extremely cool CGI trailer, and then news of the game went radio silent until, essentially, now.
The game takes place in Los Angeles (hence the “HELL-A” edition) during a zombie apocalypse. You choose one of six characters to play as, and then you work your way through an open-world environment filled with hordes of the undead. It can be played solo or with up to two co-op partners.
