At the start of last month we told you that the latest chunk of DLC for Dead Cells – The Queen and the Sea – was set to launch sometime in the spring. And now we can confirm precisely when in the spring it’s going to appear.
It’s April. Or, to be even more exact, it’s April 7th. A quick check of our day-tracking application tells us that that’s a Thursday. So Thursday April 7th is when you’re going to be able to play The Queen and the Sea.
The DLC adds to new late-game biomes to fight your way through, a special new boss, a brand spanking new ending and more to the Dead Cells experience. Here’s an excellent trailer.
Much like the other DLC that has been released for the game, this one should be priced at $4.99. There’s no word yet on whether we can expect a DLC bundle so you can bag everything for one, lower price. It’d be nice though, right?
If you haven’t played Dead Cells yet, it’s a challenging action platforming roguelike, and you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’s a premium game and it’ll set you back $8.99.
