A recent update for Dead by Daylight has fixed a number of issues with the new Resident Evil killer, Albert Wesker, known as The Mastermind within the game. This new update makes the character more powerful in some regards while eliminating certain bugs that gave him a few unfair advantages. The update also fixes a number of other issues that have been plaguing Dead by Daylight for some time.
Late last month a new piece of Resident Evil DLC for Dead by Daylight went live worldwide. Titled Project W, the Dead by Daylight DLC introduced a set of new Resident Evil characters as survivors for the asymmetrical horror game as well as Albert Wesker as a new killer. As a killer, Wesker primarily uses a knife and his Uroboros tentacles for his attacks while taunting the survivors with lines featured in the mainResident Evil games. Now a new update has buffed the character, giving him better tools to hunt the survivors.

It has been noted that Dead by Daylight's Albert Wesker takes practice to master, but the basics are by no means difficult to comprehend. This new patch, however, will give players new tools to better stalk the survivors. The buffs for Albert Wesker in Dead by Daylight increase the size of his survivor detection for triggering grabs with his Virtulent Bond ability. Damage done with the Virtulent Bond will now count towards the Chaser emblem. In addition to the upgrades, the developers have also patched a few issues that had been plaguing the character up until now.
