The DC Comics September solicits have revealed an epic variant cover for DCeased: War of the Undead Gods #2, featuring Wonder Girl Cassie Sandsmark as the new Wonder Woman. With the final chapter of the saga of the Anti-Life Apocalypse on the way, it is incredible to see how much Cassie has grown as a hero since the series’ first installment.
Tom Taylor and Trevor Hairsine's DCeased tells the story of a zombie apocalypse in the DC Universe. DCeased: War of the Undead Gods is the title's final entry, involving the rebirth of Darkseid and the Anti-Life Equation spreading throughout the cosmos. The gut-wrenching series has seen the demise of many heroes to a zombie-like disease, including DC Comics' Trinity of Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman. After Diana was infected by the Anti-Life Equation at the end of the first DCeased installment, Cassie Sandsmark was left to take up her iconic mantle.
