The big appeal of Dave the Diver is the way it constantly evolves itself as you make progress through the story, and it seems like Mintrocket wants to keep the ball rolling, even this far after launch. During Gamescom's Opening Night Live presentation, a new trailer announced a trio of collaborations coming to the sushi-'em-up later this year.
Firstly is Mxmtoon, a singer-songwriter with a pretty large following on YouTube. She'll be making an appearance in Dave the Diver as a new NPC, and will seemingly join Dave on his dives — as well as play music on the surface.
Next up, and perhaps the wildest one of the three, is a collaboration with Balatro. The smash hit roguelike card game appears to have been ported more or less intact straight into Dave the Diver. We imagine it'll be a cut-down version, but it's kind of crazy how closely this version of the game resembles the real deal.
Lastly is Potion Craft, an alchemy simulator that released at the tail end of last year. Mushroomer, a merchant from the game, makes an appearance here, telling of a new ingredient called Rainbow Cap which he can sell you for use in recipes.
All of this is coming to Dave the Diver in October. What are your thoughts on all these collabs, and which is your favourite? Tell us in the comments section below.

Really enjoyed the Godzilla DLC and the platinum run for Dave. Have no idea who the singer is or what the alchemy game is but I love Balatro so it’s cool to see the collab! Will
Check it out!
I have...kinda not heard of either of these games before now...
