Tony Khan, the CEO of All Elite Wrestling, has announced that Danhausen will make his in-ring debut on Dynamite. Danhausen has been out of action for several months after suffering an injury to his left leg where his tibia and fibula were broken. After months of rehabbing the injury, the very nice, very evil competitor is set to make his in-ring debut for the company.
Danhausen made his AEW debut on the Beach Break episode of Dynamite back in late January, where he appeared during the main event Lights Out match between Adam Cole and Orange Cassidy. During the match, Danhausen would be pulled from under the ring by Cole, clinging to the back of a steel chair. Danhausen would put a signature curse on Cole, who would go on to lose the match to Cassidy. Since then, Danhausen has been involved in a number of entertaining storylines, which most recently has included HOOK.

Confirmed by Khan, Danhausen will make his in-ring AEW debut against Tony Nese. Up until this point, the extent of Danhausen's in-ring competition in AEW has included an in-ring attack from Nese a few weeks ago. Nese, who has recently come under the guidance of Mark Sterling, will be a difficult opponent for Danhausen to overcome in his debut, as Nese has only lost 1 of his last 10 matches. With Sterling in his corner, Nese will also have a numbers advantage. Danhausen tried to even the playing field by asking HOOK to be in his corner, but the encounter ended without Danhausen getting the answer he was looking for.
