ABC announced the Dancing With The Stars season 31 premiere date, with the series moving from ABC to Disney+ starting in the fall. The series will stream in both Canada and the United States, and will be the first live-streaming reality show in America. Dancing With The Stars has been picked up for two seasons, both of which will stream on the streaming service. On ABC, Bachelor in Paradise will take the usual time slot of Dancing With The Stars.

There have been many guest judges over the years, including Julianne Hough, who judged seasons 19-21, 23 and 24. The show pairs professional dancers with celebrities, who learn and perform dances each week. The judges' scores are combined with the public's vote in order to determine the winner, who receives the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.
