It's been quite a ride for Cyberpunk 2077, which, when launched in 2020, was one of the biggest let-downs in recent gaming history. However, with the 50 GB patch 1.5 recently going live, it seems the studio is getting closer to finally giving the fan base what it was promised more than a year ago. However, even with this huge update shifting things, adding new content, making improvements, and taking care of a myriad of bugs, it seems people are still experiencing some serious issues.
According to a recent post on the CD Projekt Red forums, the developer is aware that, even with the new patch, Cyberpunk 2077 is still a hotbed of problems and crashes. Global Community Director for the company, Marcin Momot, uploaded a post a few days ago saying that the team appreciates «all the messages» that have been coming in from the fans, and that the studio is currently looking into the latest issues, some of which are quite serious.

One of the main issues so far is that the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't launch via disc. At the time of writing, it does seem that there is another hotfix available which should sort the issue once users update their system. Another is that the PC port crashes due to an audio-related issue. CD Project Red is fixing the game, but in the meantime, the forum post does recommend PC players disable the drivers before opening up the game.
