A newly-discovered Cyberpunk 2077 glitch causes a seemingly ordinary ceiling fan to become a dangerous floating object gliding across Night City. CD Projekt Red's futuristic RPG contained many weird bugs and glitches when it first launched back in the winter of 2020, to the point that many felt that the game was virtually unplayable in its default state due to save files being corrupted and mission-critical objectives not registering. The majority of these technical issues would be corrected in later Cyberpunk 2077 updates, but it seems that a few of the lesser Cyberpunk 2077 glitches have remained.
While some of the glitches found in earlier versions of Cyberpunk 2077 have led to serious issues, a few of them are rather benign and humorous — such as main character V gaining Hulk-like superpowers or an unlikely NPC ally for their journey through the mean, neon-lit streets of Night City. Other bug-induced hijinks include V driving without any pants, Goro Takemura giving players the silent treatment during a vital mission, or streets being flooded with identical copies of a single car. Sometimes, CDPR’s bug-fixing patches have led to more glitches, such as enemy characters being able to tackle cars into the air after last summer’s Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.23 update.
