Crunchyroll and A Plus Japan are bringing something exciting that’s based on the hit anime Overlord. They are gearing up for the upcoming global release of Lord of Nazarick, a turn-based RPG and the official Overlord mobile game.
This Overlord mobile game will be available on Android in the fall and the expected month of launch is set to be December 2024. Actually, it’s launching around the same time as Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, which will hit theatres in the U.S. and Canada during the fall of 2024.
On the other hand, for regions like EMEA and Latin America, Crunchyroll has picked up select rights, so the exact release dates aren’t up yet. Anyhow, Lord Of Nazarick will be free to play and is now up for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Lord Of Nazarick takes its inspiration from the anime’s iconic story of Momonga. He’s the regular salaryman who gets stuck in the virtual world of his favourite MMORPG, Yggdrasil. Yes, Isekai fans, this one’s going to be for you.
Now, Momonga is living out the rest of his days as the powerful Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown. You’ll get to dive into fresh, canon scenarios written specifically for the game. The gameplay is dynamic, with roguelite dungeons, boss challenges and mini-games.
You’ll be recruiting over 50 characters from the anime, including the guardians and pleiades. The game will also let you visit places like the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Carne Village and other familiar spots from the show.
There’ll be co-op play, where you can team up with friends or join an existing alliance. And there’s a PVP mode, too. On that note, catch a glimpse of what’s in store in this upcoming Overlord mobile game.
