Company of Heroes 3 Operation Sapphire Jackal update coming March 28th
Relic Entertainment has announced that Company of Heroes 3 will be getting its first major update on March 28th. That update is called Operation Sapphire Jackal. The update will bring new content to Company of Heroes 3, alongside a number of bug fixes. The key addition will be daily and weekly challenges in both multiplayer and co-op modes.
The daily and weekly challenge objectives will include actions such as ‘Kill 50 vehicles with anti-tank guns’ to ‘Gain 50 veteran ranks with Wehrmacht infantry.’ Cosmetic items are also be added to the store which will be purchased using either Merit and War Bonds. Merit is earnable by completing challenges. Relic has stated that there will be a balance of earnable content and paid content.
The full patch notes for Company of Heroes 3 1.1.0 will be going live alongside the launch of Operation Sapphire Jackal, but a sneak peek of what to expect has been released by Relic Entertainment. Those preview update notes are below.
Company of Heroes 3 released on PC in February. A PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version is expected at some point this year.
