Commander Shepard is one of the most beloved characters in science-fiction video game history. With the character being the protagonist in the franchise's original trilogy, people are now wondering if the character might be making a return in Mass Effect 4. There are actually two actors for Commander Shepard since the Mass Effect games allow users to choose between the hero appearing as male or female. One of those actors, Jennifer Hale, recently addressed if she plans on returning to the series and voicing the incredibly popular character one more time.

Appearing at the British Academy Games Awards, Hale was asked by a fan about possible plans regarding returning to the Mass Effect franchise as Shepherd one more time. The question was initially greeted with a laugh from the actor, and then she responded that it was up to the fans as to whether or not she might eventually return.
The actress added that if fans want her to return to the iconic Mass Effect role they should let BioWare know their feelings. «I would love it and I think Mark would too,» she explained.
