CBS announced the cast for their newest reality competition show, Beyond The Edge. The series, which premieres on Wednesday, March 16 at 9 p.m., is inspired by the longtime hit series Survivor; those interested may see dashes of The Amazing Race and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! as well. Beyond The Edge is from producers David Garfinkle, Jay Renfroe, Jay Bienstock and Greg Goldman—who previously produced shows like Survivor and Naked and Afraid—and hosted by sports announcer Mauro Ranallo.
CBS is on a roll when it comes to content, as Celebrity Big Brother season 3 kicked off February 2 after a two-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With Bravo housewives Teddi Mellencamp and Cynthia Bailey recently entering the Big Brother house to compete for $250,000, reality personalities are set to be featured all across screens for the next few months. CBS's longest-running shows, such as Big Brother, The Amazing Race and Survivor all have one thing in common: a group of people forced to live in an unfamiliar area and be pushed to their limits in order to win a monetary prize—and a title.
