Searchlight Pictures drops a brand-new trailer for the Martin McDonagh drama film The Banshees of Inisherin, featuring In Bruges stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. The film is set against the backdrop of the Irish Civil War in 1923 and takes place on a remote island off the west coast of Ireland. The story of The Banshees of Inisherin revolves around a conflict between two friends, Pádraic (Farrell) and Colm (Gleeson). When one of them ends their friendship, distressing consequences are in store for both. Kerry Condon (Better Call Saul) and Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk) also appear in supporting roles.
In a new official trailer released by Searchlight Pictures for The Banshees of Inisherin, the spotlight is put on the leading stars Farrell and Gleeson, as they find themselves in an unexpected quarrel. The trailer begins with Gleeson's Colm turning his back on his friendship with Farrell's Pádraic for vague reasons. Pádraic attempts to repair their bond through some conversations between the two that are occasionally hysterical.
