Clash Royale, the spinoff of Supercell's Clash Of Clans, is a game that involves pre-planning just as much as actual skillful execution. Since mobile games like Clash Royalehave such a high player base, there are no secrets about the «meta» decks in the game currently. Those are the decks with the most utility and use in the game's current state.
Low elixir decks have been a part of Clash Royale's meta for a long time, and because of that, many different kinds of low elixir decks work extremely well. Two of the most famous decks are "2.6 Hog Cycle" and "Log bait." Each deck has unique strengths, but both have a sort of formula that they follow so that players can put their own spins on it.

The first deck's title, 2.6 Hog Cycle, is relatively self-explanatory. At its core, it is meant to quickly cycle back to the deck's hog rider card to put constant pressure on the opponent. The deck consists of a cannon, fireball, log, ice spirit, ice golem, skeletons, musketeer, and hog rider. Luckily, it's not too hard to upgrade those cards with gold in Clash Royale because only one of them is a legendary rarity, with the rest being rare and common. So the best way to use this deck is to play the hog rider, let the opponent react by using their strongest counter to it, then quickly get back to the hog rider before the opponent has their counter card ready. And since this deck has some of the strongest and most versatile defenses in the game, it's not too hard to get back on offense.
Another great low elixir deck is the «log bait» deck. Using many low elixir cards countered by The Log forces opponents with high-cost elixir decks to always be on their toes
