Star Trek star Chris Pine reacts to Quentin Tarantino being his biggest fan. Pine first took over the captain’s chair on the Starship Enterprise in J.J. Abrams’ 2009 Trek reboot movie. He has played Kirk two more times since then and will reprise the role again in the highly-anticipated Star Trek 4.

Unfortunately it now seems the world will never get to see what Tarantino had in mind for Star Trek and his favorite leading man as his project is not moving forward. For his part, Pine has expressed appreciation for the kind words Tarantino has spoken about him and his work in Star Trek. Speaking to THR recently, Pine said:
“Of course, I’m extremely flattered. Just on a personal level, I used to take my mom [Gwynne Gilford]
