Pre-orders for the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Hogwarts Legacy came in second place on Steam last week.
The title is set to launch on February 10th, though is being released amid myriad cultural scandals, not least the controversial views of author JK Rowling and the game's apparent depiction of slavery. Despite all of this, Hogwarts Legacy looks set to be a solid seller once it comes out.
Valve's Steam Deck once again takes the No.1 spot, while the Index VR Kit returns to the Top Ten in eighth. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hangs steady in third place, charting ahead of Redbeet Interactive's Raft, which returns to the Top Ten at No.4 thanks to a 33 per cent price cut. Elden Ring drops three places to No.5 after the tough RPG's first ever discount period came to a close.
One Piece Odyssey debuts in sixth place following its January 12th launch, while the Prime Status Upgrade for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive returns to the charts at No.7 along with Squanch Games' High on Life in ninth. The comedy shooter debuted in second place on Steam back in December.
Rounding off the Top Ten once more is The Indie Stone's Project Zomboid.
