Yesterday VFX career artists Mohsen Mousavi, Hugh Behroozy, and longtime game designer Troy Dunniway announced the formation of their new game development studio Blinkmoon.
The company said that it aims to bring in "a new era of 'best-in-class' entertainment."
Behroozy will lead the company as CEO and over the course of his career he's worked on visual effects for films such as Guardians of the Galaxy, Justice League, and Tomb Raider.
Whereas Dunniway will serve as Blinkmoon's general manager. Throughout his 25 year career he's held various roles such as project lead, creative director having worked on title such as Rainbow Six, Ratchet & Clank, and Dying: Reborn.
Mousavi will take on the helm of creative director and chief operating officer of the studio.
The VFX veteran artist has worked on a number of projects including Game of Thrones, Marvel's Spiderman, and Independence Day 2 over the years.
"I'm proud to bring this team of exceptional creators together to bridge the gap between blockbuster, cinematic experiences and interactive gaming," said Behroozy.
