director Julius Onah says one of the biggest themes of the upcoming MCU movie will be brotherhood.
Captain America: Brave New World, also known as Captain America 4, will be released in United States theaters next February. Directed by Onah, the film will see Anthony Mackie step back into the role of Sam Wilson/Captain America while Danny Ramirez is also returning as Joaquin Torres/Falcon.
Speaking with Empire Magazine, Onah discussed how the brotherhood between Mackie and Ramirez’s characters will be one of the most important aspects of the Marvel Studios film.
“There’s this incredible big brother/little brother dynamic between them,” he explained. “It’s going to be one of the key emotional centers of the film.”
Onah further noted that both Sam and Joaquin are “incredible fights.” He continued, “And Sam has been there and back. He’s got some tricks up his sleeve, and over the course of the film there are things he comes to learn that become other tools in his arsenal, when he’s facing even the most impossible of threats.”
