Today Capcom announced that it has revised its full-year earnings predictions for the full-year ending on March 31, 2022.
The company raised its net sales estimates to ¥110 billion ($857 million) and its operating income to ¥43 billion ($327 million).
The 10% increase to the company's earnings forecast was attributed to the sales performances of the company's latest titles.
"...we saw favorable performances from titles such as Resident Evil Village, which is the latest game in the series, as well as Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin..." the company said.
"Further, in addition to the January release of the PC version of Monster Hunter Rise...and due to the synergetic effects of discount sales held in the fourth quarter. Altogether, this has led us to expect net sales to exceed our previous forecast."
In terms of sales, the firm previously said that Resident Evil Village sold over five million units and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin sales have reached a million copies sold globally.
