F1 22, the latest installment in EA’s popular racing sim series, puts you behind the wheel of the world's strongest and fastest speed machines. Real-world F1 cars are engineering marvels, so it's no surprise that their video game counterparts require a bit of computing muscle to properly capture the sport's spirit. F1 22 has many new features that make this installment potentially one of the most immersive racing games yet. A new, real-world Formula 1 season means reworked in-game vehicles and fresh rules changes. The game also features the series' first licensed soundtrack, one that spans 13 countries from across the globe. Artists include Charli XCX, Diplo, Mall Grab, and Meduza.
The PC game features a wide array of accessibility options, including an adaptive AI that adjusts races to match your performance. In addition, F1 22 is VR-compatible on PC, so you’ll be able to strap on a VR headset and get a sense of what it’s like to drive an F1 car at breakneck speeds.
F1 22 is available for pre-order on PC(Opens in a new window), as well as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The Standard Edition costs $59.99, and the Champion’s Edition costs $79.99. If you purchase the Champion’s Edition, you’ll receive early access to the game on June 28 (three days before the Standard Edition release) and bonus incentives, such as 18,000 pit coins and other in-game content. The game also supports dual entitlement, so you'll receive a free, next-gen upgrade if you buy a copy for last-gen consoles.
