Animal Crossing meets Darkest Dungeon in Devolver Digital’s upcoming Cult of the Lamb(Opens in a new window). The newest game from developer Massive Monster (Adventure Pals, Never Give Up) is set for a August 11 release on all major platforms, and promises roguelite action and in-depth strategy. Before you spread the word of your dark lord, first find out if your gaming PC can run the PC game.

In return for sparing your life and granting you demonic power, you are now tasked with spreading this deity's gospel.
As you travel the randomly generated world, you come across cute anthropomorphic animal followers who you can invite to your settlement and assign them tasks. Based on your settlement's progress, you receive buffs that help spread the (good?) word of your god.

The gameplay revolves around a robust economic system that involves managing resources and building villages, alongside the hack-and-slash combat.
The game can be pre-ordered for $24.99 via Steam(Opens in a new window), as well as also being available for Nintendo Switch(Opens in a new window), PlayStation 5(Opens in a new window), Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One(Opens in a new window). It's possible that pre-ordering the game could bag you an exclusive Cthulhu cosmetic skin for your
