Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has revealed a brief teaser that teases the return of fan favorite battle royale map Verdansk. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been teased for quite some time, and while fans have to wait until next week to get the full reveal, it seems they can now count on Verdansk making its grand comeback.
Verdansk was the original battle royale map in Call of Duty: Warzone when it first launched. As time went on, major changes were made to Verdansk to align it with the current Call of Duty game on the market. Eventually, Verdansk was removed from Call of Duty: Warzone entirely and replaced with the Caldera map. The map change was well-received at first, as many Call of Duty: Warzone fans were ready for something new, but it proved to be hugely controversial in the long run, leading many to call for Verdansk to return.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was featured at the recent GameSpot Swipe event that focused on mobile games. It was confirmed then that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be featured at the big Call of Duty reveal event on September 15. The game itself was teased with a short video that showed the familiar Verdansk plane coming into view. While not outright confirmed, it's heavily implied by the video that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will be taking players back to Verdansk. It has been confirmed through the game's updated website that there will be 120 players in matches and shared progression, however.
This will be good news for Call of Duty fans who miss the Verdansk battle royale map, though some may be frustrated that it's coming to the mobile version of the game and not the main game. While Verdansk may not ever return
