Dr. Holmes was designed by Ghostwire: Tokyo director Ikumi Nakamura, who said it was an "honour" to collaborate with the Boyfriend Dungeon team for the Secret Weapons update.

This DLC sees KitFox fulfilling its final Kickstarter stretch goal. As well as the three new weapons, this DLC also brings a third dungeon to the game. Dr. Holmes is the boss of this new area, and is non-binary, going by she/they pronouns. They're voiced by streamer, Kathleen ‘Loserfruit’ Belsten.
All of the new content added in this DLC is available to those of you who have completed the main story, and those of you picking the game up for the first time. Now is an especially good opportunity to do so as the game is discounted at $14.99 USD for a limited time on Nintendo Switch and Steam.
This DLC will also contain more music from the fantastic Marskye, the original composer of the base game's banging pop and dubstep tunes. He's made some more tracks, including one with vocalist Madeleine McQueen. You can buy these songs now or stream them.
