WhileBorderlands 3 was controversial upon release due to its main story, its post-launch expansions proved to he exactly what the game needed. One of the best was dubbed Guns, Loves, and Tentacles, and it stood out due to its Lovecraftian focus. Seeing Hammerlock and Wainwright get married was a lovely moment, while Gaige the Mechromancer stole the show as the wedding planner. However, Mancubus and The Lodge proved to be an interesting surprise that felt like the start of something more.
Currently, Borderlands 3 fans know very little about Mancubus, though his mysterious nature and hilarious way of speaking have quickly made him a fan favorite. As such, it would be great to see The Lodge’s creepy proprietor in the future, with fans possibly learning exactly what his goals are and why The Lodge has so much power. Another spooky DLC could be the perfect way to bring him back in Borderlands 4, with The Lodge serving as a hub once again.

Izzy sharing Mancubus’ last name has gotten fans talking about the Lodge’s proprietor once again, with many worrying if he has a deeper connection to the game board Tiny Tina was using. Considering his hunt for the Nibblenomican, he has a habit for collecting supernatural artifacts, so this would not be shocking. However, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is not the only time that Gearbox has referenced Mancubus after the events of Guns, Love, and Tentacles.
