Ever since it was revealed in 2021, the upcoming mysterious PS5 project Abandoned has attracted a lot of attention. However, the apparent lack of any progress or even updates seems to have begun to wear on fans. Now, Abandoned developer Blue Box Game Studios has announced that their official YouTube account has been hacked, which has unleashed a storm of new problems for the title.
Abandoned was announced in a PlayStation blog post back in April 2021, where gamers quickly assumed it was connected to the long-dormant Silent Hill franchise or a new Hideo Kojima project. Even the developer of Abandoned refuting the rumors didn't stop discussions of what the game might be. Blue Box Game Studios' secrecy concerning the title doesn't seem to have helped matters.

The developer made it clear that Abandoned preorders are not currently available and fans should not open these emails or transfer funds. Combined with the constant delays of Abandoned, this news appears to have left a number of fans frustrated with Blue Box Game studios.
