However, the apparent lack of any progress or even updates seems to have begun to wear on fans. Now, Abandoned developer Blue Box Game Studios has announced that their official YouTube account has been hacked, which has unleashed a storm of new problems for the title.

Abandoned was announced in a PlayStation blog post back in April 2021, where gamers quickly assumed it was connected to the long-dormant Silent Hill franchise or a new Hideo Kojima project.
