A fantasy world is on the verge of war as peace is seemingly no longer an option for the continued coexistence of the human and faerie realms, though one boy could be the answer to ensuring peace and preventing all-out war in an all-new chapter of the blockbuster fantasy comic WYND from BOOM! Studios.
This new chapter of the WYND saga will be a five-issue series called WYND: The Throne in the Sky and it will be helmed by the writer of the original series, Eisner Award winner James Tynion IV, who is also known for their work on Something Is Killing The Children and Batman. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Michael Dialynas will be the artist behind this new chapter with AndWorld Design on as letterer. The first issue will feature a wraparound main cover art and a foil variant cover by series artist, Dialynas. Other variant covers will feature the creative talents of Batman’s Greg Capullo, who will be joined by inker Jonathan Glapion and colorist Dave McCaig, with Blood-Stained Teeth’s Christian Ward and Thor’s Mike Del Mundo creating their own variants as well.

In a release from BOOM! Studios announcing this next chapter in the WYND saga, writer Tynion spoke on the overall message they hope to convey with the series. “WYND at its heart is about how people resist change in themselves and the world around them, and how that fear fills them with hate. It’s about how young people must navigate a world in which change is necessary, and overcome that hate to find themselves and find a path forward for their people and their world.” Tynion also revealed the excitement they feel going into this book, which was mostly due to the impressive creative team
