Next year is shaping up to be a huge year for World of Warcraft fans. In a blog post, Blizzard released the 2024 roadmap for both retail World of Warcraft leading into The War Within expansion as well as the release plans for all things World of Warcraft Classic including Season of Discovery updates and Cataclysm Classic.

Pretty soon the Season of Discovery level cap will increase to Level 40 bringing with it new runes, a new PvP event, and the Gnomeregan raid. Not long after World of Warcraft Classic: Hardcore will get its Self-Found mode update which allows players to create a Hardcore character with the added ruleset of not being able to trade with other players.
Sometime in the Spring Season of Discovery will progress forward again, increasing the level cap to Level 50 and unlocking even more runes and another new raid. Not long after World of Warcraft Classic will get the Cataclysm Classic pre-patch followed by its full release in late Spring or early
