The Justice Society of America is coming to the DCEU, and ahead of the superteam's arrival in Black Adam,Cyclone gets a new spotlight in a brand new comic. In Black Adam — The Justice Society Files: Cyclone #1 by DC Comics, Cyclone's costume and powers take center stage, as a new Kaare Andrews cover gives readers and fans their best look at the character yet.
Cyclone isn't exactly a household name, but the DC Comics hero has played an integral role for the Justice Society America since first debuting in Justice Society of America #1 in 2016. Created by Geoff Johns, Mark Waid, Alex Ross, and Dale Eaglesham, Cyclone, real name Maxine Hunkle, is the granddaughter of the original Red Tornado. The talkative, genius-level hero would develop similar powers to the classic hero, as she can manipulate wind and soundwaves to create cyclones and powerful bursts. Cyclone would join the JSA and become one of its new members during the excellent mid-2000s run on the superteam.

DC Comics revealed Cyclone will star in her own one-shot, Black Adam — The Justice Society Files: Cyclone #1 by Cavan Scott and Maria Laura Sanapo. The comic will tie into the upcoming Black Adam DCEU film starring Dwayne «The Rock» Johnson, where Cyclone will be played by actress Quintessa Swindell. Additionally, the new comic will guest-star Hawkman and will show the hero's journey to joining the Justice Society of America. Check out the cover art for the series by Kaare Andrews, which proves an all-new look at Cyclone's costume and powers.
