A FIFA 23 fan has discovered a bizarre glitch that causes a player to fly through the air in order to connect with a headbutt as the ball gets beyond the reach of a standard defender. FIFA 23 was released just last month, and it is suffering from some glitches.
One FIFA 23 player may have discovered a problem with the AI programming during a match in which a defender flies through the air to headbutt the soccer ball, which should've been far too high for them. Reddit user StarrkC recently shared aFIFA 23 clip in which they are running a ball down the field in an effort to score a goal and the opposing AI cheats to prevent it.
FIFA 23 is Being Review Bombed
One of the FIFA defenders in StarrkC's FIFA 23 video headbutts the soccer ball at a reasonable height as the player passes it to another player, but the second defensive play is what makes the clip so bizarre. The second defender leaps high into the air to headbutt the ball even further, jumping much higher than FIFA 23 players are supposed to be able to. Adding to the humor of the ridiculous FIFA 23 occurrence, the player's animation appears rubbery before landing back on the grand and acting like nothing abnormal happened during the match.
The FIFA 23 video concludes with the defender sending the ball back into the possession of an opposing player who passes it to another who seemingly takes another shot at the goal. Because the FIFA 23 AI doesn't traditionally respond in the way that it does during the clip, EA Sports may patch things to prevent future games from being lost to this bug. Not even the highly ranked FIFA Ultimate Team players are supposed to be able to defy physics the way that the player in StarrkC's FIFA 23 clip did, highlighting a bug that can create
