A newly-discovered glitch in Destiny 2 allows players to easily farm Treasure Coordinates without spending any additional resources. Destiny 2's latest season, Season of Plunder, brings with it a plethora of new currencies, with Treasure Coordinates being a resource used to slot Treasure Maps and earn additional rewards at the end of Expeditions.
So far in the Season of Plunder, players have turned mostly to the new Expedition and Ketchcrash activities in search of new seasonal gear, weapons, Umbral Energy, and other sorts of pirate-themed loot from the current season in Destiny 2. The addition of the new Captain's Atlas seasonal item allows Guardians to use a variety of different Treasure Maps to further their gains from Expedition activities whether it be Glimmer or gear, and has provided one of the few reliable methods of farming Deepsight weapons from the new season.

A recent post from Twitter user @SivaTechFromXB provides a demonstration of a new exploit in action. Switching between the Rotating Expedition Armor Map and Plundered Umbral Energy Map in the Captain's Atlas not only fully refunds the resources spent on slotting the map, but also grants players a moderate amount of extra Treasure Coordinates. This can seemingly be repeated as many times as players want, allowing for what is effectively an infinite supply of free Coordinates. Although Bungie hasn't yet commented on the bug, it has been seen circulating through posts from the community on Reddit, Twitter and YouTube over the past couple of weeks.
