BIP: Ashley & Jared Share 1st Photos Of Baby & Reveal A Change To His Name
Bachelor In Paradise stars Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon shared the first photographs of their baby son, Dawson, and revealed a change to his name. The fan-favorite couple met during Bachelor In Paradise season 2 in 2015 and became a couple in 2018. Jared proposed in June 2018, and they were married on August 11, 2019. In July 2021, they announced that they were expecting a baby. The following month, Ashley and Jared revealed that the baby would be a boy.
In an Amazon Live broadcast in January 2022, Ashley and Jared announced that they would name their son Dawson. He is named after Leonardo DiCaprio's character in Ashley's favorite movie, Titanic. In January, Ashley temporarily relocated from her and Jared's home in Rhode Island to her parents' home in Virginia because she wanted to give birth at the hospital where her father has worked as an anesthesiologist for the past 28 years. Jared commuted from Rhode Island because he was working at the couple's coffee shop, Audrey's, which opened in December 2021. During the last weekend of January, Jared rushed to Virginia before an expected snowstorm on the East Coast because the doctors thought that Ashley might give birth. On January 31, Ashley and Jared welcomed Dawson into the world.

In a post on Instagram, Ashley shared the first photographs of Dawson, including some pictures of the family at the hospital right after he was born. In the caption, she shared that Dawson entered the world on a very important day in their family because January 31 is her mother's birthday and the day that her parents met 44 years ago.
