Sony has released a new PlayStation 5 firmware update that adds highly-requested features like gamelists, 1440p HDMI support, and more. Sony has released multiple firmware updates for its PlayStation 5 console since launching the system in 2020, but the latest is one of the biggest to date.

As long as one has a compatible monitor or television, they should be able to play PS5 games in 1440p after downloading the update. The PS5 also has gamelists now, which let users better organize their collection.
