There is strong potential for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. The previous entries in the series have seen great success, with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 continuing to get DLC along with new Dragon Ball anime and movie releases. Another sequel for the series seems likely because of fan demand and the steady release of new Dragon Ball content. More demand for a threequel comes with speculation of how a new game could improve over previous entries.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse has a lot of room for growth. With other standout games in the franchise like Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot delivering experiences that fans have been asking for, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 needs to step it up. The Xenoverse games bring lots of fan service, but largely deliver a standard arena fighter experience. However, the games have strengths worth improving on in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
The Case For Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3
One of the best parts of the Xenoverse series was the ability to make a playable character in the game. The second game in the series allowed fans to select from a variety of different race options across the series, including Namekians, Majin, and the Frieza race. However, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 should have many more races to choose from. The introduction of the different universe in Dragon Ball Super should offer tons of variety for players to choose from. Even without Dragon Ball Super, there are still tons of races that have been left out like Androids, animal people, and Kai.
Along with different race options there are different transformations, or awoken skills, that can be selected for a created character. There are many transformations to choose from in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, although many of them were race specific.
