Ubisoft’s beloved action-adventure game Beyond Good and Evil officially turns 20 this year, and Ubisoft has announced a Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is coming… next year. Well, better late than never I guess?
Ah, but some have already got to play the BG&E remaster, as the game was accidentally launched early on Ubisoft+. Most of the videos of the remaster online have quickly been scrubbed, but somewhat unflattering comparisons between the original and updated versions of the game can still be viewed. As part of an official announcement of the project, Ubisoft insists what’s out there right now is “not indicative of the final game,” so hopefully we can expect some more polish when the project officially launches sometime next year.
