The Real Housewives of New York alum Bethenny Frankel responded to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne’s toxic comments. Both Bethenny and Erika are two of the most well known housewives from across the franchises. Although Bethenny officially left her Bravo days behind in 2019, the entrepreneur still gets into the proverbial ring with current housewives like Erika.
Bethenny ticked off the Pretty Mess performer by discussing the legal woes of her estranged husband, Tom Girardi. While Erika was on a taping of Watch What Happens Live, Bravo mastermind Andy Cohen recalled a conversation he and Bethenny had about the former lawyer. Andy said that Bethenny had heard Tom owed many people money. Erika responded to the allegation by bringing Bethenny's late fiancé Dennis Shields into the mix, saying, “her man’s dead and mine’s in a home.”

Bethenny took to TikTok to respond to Erika's digs, citing the comments as an example of the toxic behavior she left the housewives franchise over. Recording from the back seat of a plush ride, Bethenny prefaced her reply by saying that countless people have asked her to publicly respond to the statements. Overall, Bethenny chalked the offhand comments up to being callous and cold, two things that Erika has constantly been labeled from co-stars on RHBOH. She went on to say that unnecessary toxic dynamics like this are why she chose to leave the franchise behind.
