Best video games of 2022 (so far): The year 2022 has been an exciting journey when it comes to the video games released so far. Unlike the previous year, we have not seen any big disasters like Cyberpunk 2077 or eFootball 2022 where both the games suffered from creating high expectations but under-delivering on them. On the whole, the year 2022 has seen vast improvements with video games offering amazing graphics, better storylines and immersive gameplays. So, at the halfway point of the year, we had to mention the best video games of 2022, according to us. For us, the spotlight was stolen by Diablo Immortal, Evil Dead, Sniper Elite 5, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. So check out the full list below.
Also, we have to mention Wordle as an honorary mention to the list. While Wordle doesn’t qualify as a modern video game and thus has been excluded from the list, this simple word game has taken the entire world by a storm. And whether you have played the game or not, unless you have been living under a rock, you have definitely heard of it.

The game was released on June 2 and it was going to be one of those titles which would either be loved or absolutely hated. The game was criticised by the fans who did not like the PC franchise taking a turn for the mobile-first ecosystem with microtransaction model. While the public opinion of the publisher Blizzard is still out for vote, the game has turned out as a game changer. The game manages to bring its PC-like graphics to a mobile friendly ecosystem without ever feeling out of place, and the controls are very intuitive on mobile devices, making the dungeon-themed gameplay very immersive and fun to play.
