August 2022 is going to see plenty of new releases for the Nintendo Switch, but many players will want to seek out the best of the best. There is a fairly long list of titles set to release, and most people should be able to find at least one game that catches their interest. At the same time, some potentially great games may slide under the radar.
August 2022 does not have any releases set for the biggest Nintendo properties such as Mario or Pokémon. However, that by no means implies that August's release schedule is weak. Indeed, some of the games included have either been highly anticipated or have enough of a hook to draw in some casual fans. It is a perfect time for players to get to know some new titles, and they may even find a new favorite game in the process.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have left a bigger footprint in video game history than many know, and TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection pays tribute to it.
